🍂 The Fall Wardrobe Edit

Okay, let’s be honest — I may be an island girl but fall fashion is my jam. Give me a crisp morning, a capuccino, and a reason to wear boots (or faux leather), and I’m livinggggg.

When I started doing my seasonal closet changeover this year, I realized something: my fall wardrobe isn’t about chasing trends anymore. It’s about feeling good in what I wear — pieces that make me cozy, confident, and put together (even if I’m just running to Marshall’s or working out).

So here’s my little lineup of fall MVPs — the pieces I’ve been reaching for over and over again lately. Nothing crazy, just tried-and-true staples that get the job done and still feel cute.

🧥 1. The Perfect Sweater

You know the one. Soft, slouchy, and somehow goes with everything. Mine’s an ivory Open Edit find from Nordstrom that’s just as easy to dress up (thanks to its cold shoulder detail) as it is to throw on with leggings. The real MVP of my “I want to look like I tried, but didn’t” vibe.

👢 2. The Boot That Means Business

I’m in my tall-boot era — sleek, structured, and just a little dramatic. Perfect with a mini skirt and tights or over your favorite skinny jeans (sorry Gen Z but I will always have at least one pair for this exact reason). The key: comfort and confidence. Bonus points if you found them on sale last year and still get compliments every time you wear them. My current faves are a Vince Camuto suede pair – scored from Marshalls for under $100!

👗 3. The Skirt You Can Actually Move In

Faux leather, pleated, or denim — whatever makes you feel like the main character. I love that my current obsession even came with it’s own belt and has a peekaboo slit. Take it from polished office hours to happy hour sass with ease. Special shoutout to the Anthropologie clearance rack for this find!

🖤 4. The Faux Leather Moment

Whether it’s a jacket, leggings, or a mini, I promise there’s a faux leather piece out there that’ll make you feel unstoppable. Mine is a pair of joggers from QVC that are a few years old and haven’t steered me wrong yet. I wear them when I need a little extra “boss energy” to my casual Friday dress code.

👖 5. Denim That Fits Like a Dream

If you’ve found the pair, you know it’s a love story. High-waisted, straight leg, or cropped — whatever your go-to cut, it’s all about comfort and confidence. The right pair just works with everything. I’m currently obsessing over the barrel cut from LOFT. And can we have a moment of appreciation for how soft their denim is?!? Not to mention they have curvy cuts – win-win!

🎁 Bonus: The Jacket You’ll Live In

Light enough for early fall, warm enough for layering later. I’ve been living in a black cropped bomber style that instantly makes any outfit look more intentional (even if I’m just wearing it over a hoodie). Hot take: Marshalls this time of year is great for outerwear – and it’s where I scored mine years ago, too. The racks are full of trenches, lightweight puffers, peacoats, and even some faux fur. Run, don’t walk!

Fall fashion, for me, isn’t about a full wardrobe overhaul — it’s about those key pieces that make getting dressed fun again. The ones that make you feel like you.

So tell me — what’s your ride-or-die fall piece this year? Drop it in the comments or tag me on IG; I love seeing how everyone puts their own spin on cuffing (I mean cozy) season.

Until next time, my Suites. 😉 ✨
